“Music is the mortar of life. It connects and solidifies both the momentous and mundane moments.”

– David Boullata (The BouDa)

For most of his life, David Boullata (aka BouDa) has been studying one question:

Why do some moments stay with us?

Sometimes the answer is a voice. Sometimes it’s a story. Often, it’s the music.

A composer, songwriter, broadcaster, and communication specialist, David brings together more than three decades of experience working at the intersection of sound, emotion, and human connection. His music blends cinematic, pop, and electronic-organic influences, creating cues that support stories rather than compete with them.

Having spent years not only creating music but also programming it for radio, producing media, and understanding audience response, David approaches composition from a unique perspective: every track should serve a purpose, create movement, and help an audience feel something.
